Dr0ught declared in California
The article that I read is called "drought declared in California" and well the title tells it all, but it talks about how Schwarzenegger already warned/told some residents already to cut the water use, or else they would have to face the concequences of droughts, the next year. It says that he already sighned an executive order directing to the state's response to unusually dry conditions that are damaging crops, harming water amounts and causing extreme fire danger across California. Also he derected to a water resource department to help speed water transfers on the worst affected areas, theyre also helping farmers suffering from droughts. I think that this relates to to the poor places around the globe, because its not only California who is sufferning form that issue, in many more Countries they have them, and even worse, because they die from many water issues like, infections, unsanitation, and just the need or it urgently.
how will we feed the world?
The article "How will we feed the world" is about the countries who are suffering because of food shortages. We all have food but what I think the issue is money, but not for all the countries because in some countries they do have lots of money, just that they dont have alot of feeding supplies. It talks about how hungry people from Haiti have been duing food riots saing "we're hungry"and so far 24 have died. Also they have mentioned some countries that I have heard like Egypt, , Indonesia, Bangladesh and Madagascar, and several others. The world bank has already siad that there are 33 countries that are in danger of food price inflation. What this relates to is the starving kids of Afrca, because usually when you hear the word "hunger" the first place that pops into your head is Africa. What I think is that people should be working together as a whole to make things better.
Not All Wet
In this article of water shortages many people all around the world are in need of water. Most people think that just because they are rich they can get water but not for long will that stay like that. China, Israel, and India are suffering too. They are all doing different things to help with there situation. Water means a lack of food because it takes water for food to start growing. If there is no water people will starve.

Water Shortages
I read the article Worldwide Water Shortage On Horizon. I learned that by 2025 more than half the nations in the world will have freshwater stress. By 2050 as much as 75 percent of the world's population could have freshwater scarcity. To fix the water shortage dilemma the US will need to use all water sources.

Drought declared in California
The article that I read was about the governor declaring water drought in California. He warned residents to cut down in water. He also mentioned how it's harming the crops and that it's causing fires through out California. In some parts they need it to snow so by summer they have lots of water but it's been really dry. This situation really worries me because water is extremely important.

200 different scientist from different countries said the most concerning issue with the world today is water shortage. Humans have access to 0.8% of the earths water. The demand for water within the next two decades is supposed to increase 40%. This shows their is not going to be enough water to support our needs. Water is not only a demand for people to drink but it takes 1,000 tonnes of water to create a ton of wheat. Their is simply just not enough water for our worlds needs.

pentagon: suspected mastermind of U.S Cole Bombing
The name of the article that I read is called "pentagon: suspected mastermind of U.S Cole Bombing Confesses. It's like, based on an interview that they were asking him the things that he had done, and surprisingly he said more than other ones, he confessed that he helped plan the bombings of the U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania by buying weapon's in 1998 that killed 213 people, Surprisingly he also confessed that he had meet Usama bin Laden that same day and that he was a link between him and Sheikh Abd al-Rahim al-Nashiri on the 911 incident, well it realates to all the terrorism in general but that one only focuses on the terrorism between our enemies.
Terrorism Research
When you think of the word terrorism you may think back only on the September 11 attacks. In reality, Terrorism happens on a broader scale. Terrorism is a manipulation tactic utilized by striking fear into the lives of people."…the use of violence for political ends, and includes any use of violence for the purpose of putting the public, or any section of the public, in fear.". The fact that terrorist are often viewed as heroes on the opposing side, can easily be described as disturbing. Terrorist genuinely believe they are doing the right thing.

What is Terrorism?
What I learned about was the true definition of terrorism and thats crime mixed with beliefs. I personally think that all of the terrorism things thats going on is dumb. If they want to prove a point in society then why not do it another way instead of blowing up people?
Pentagon: Suspected Mastermind of USS Cole Bombing Confesses
The article that I read was about a man named Waleed Mohammed Bin Attash that confessed to planning the the attack on USS Cole. He also confessed about planning the bombing of the US in 1998 that killed 213 people. He talked about how he bought the bombs and that he planned it for one year and a half. Another man named Khalid Sheikh Mohammed also confessed of thirty-six different situations that he was in involved and one of them was the 9/11 attack. Both men were with Bin Laden. I think that this is really crazy. I hate the fact that people can do things like that. They're out of their mind.
Terrorism
The article that I read is called Pentagon: Suspected Mastermind of USS Cole Bombing Confesses. It talked about Waleed Mohammed Bin Attash, the man who said he helped bomb the US embassies in Kenya Tanzania in 1998. It relates to today because the United States of America is fighting a war on terrorism right now. I had no idea who this guy was or what he did until I read this article because I was pretty young when this happened.

Food shortages loom as wheat crop shrinks and prices ris
What i read about today in the food shortages article was that the climate change is effecting the food provided every where. There are a lot of pressure on many farms an food companies due to the heat waves.
Food Shortages: how will we feed the world?
The article that I read was explaining how in the past month their been food riots and 24 people even died in one of them. Also that the price of rise has gone up and the reason why is because people are wanting more meat and dairy products so farmers are abandoning rice growing. A lot of people are in high risks. I believe that this situation is really sad because people need food to survive and theirs so many little kids dieing because they don't have anything to eat.
Food shortages loom as wheat crop shrinks and prices rise.
It is predicted that wheat will run in the world in the next ten weeks. Experts feel that due to climate change wheat has dropped from 624m to 600m tonnes. The lack of wheat will also cause many other foods and beverages to rise. For example beer, biscuits and bread will all rise in price. Americas recent change in diet to a high meat intake is causing most of the wheat to go towards livestock. In all this their is a solution to this problem. Farmers around the world have boughten millions of acres of land and is harvesting wheat to create a solution to this problem. This is projected to be solved if all goes well within the next 12 months.
4o Countries Face Food shortages worldwide
This article on Food shortages is about how there is many food shortages around the world. Where food is very short is in the Africa, and Central America. Many don't have crops because of the hot weather that is going on and people are in need of food. In Iraq causes of droughts leave people with no food which cause conflict. Also inflation in Africa causes them to have less food when they already do not have enough food. those are not the only countries that are in need of food so are others. This article also relates to my topic on water shortages which cause food not to grow because of how little water these countries have. Water shortages is a big cause of food shortages too. I think this ois sad how many people suffer from not haveing any food too.
Food shortages loom as wheat crop shrinks and prices rise
This article primarily focuses on food shortages around the world. Wheat grain is progressively decreasing and becoming so scarce, it is estimated to run out in as little as ten weeks. This article easily relates to climate change because researchers believe that crops are affected by global warming. I find it to be quite disturbing.
Food Shortages
The article I read is called Food shortages loom as wheat crop shrinks and prices rise. This article talked about how we are running out of wheat and the prices are rising. Experts said that climate change is causing the wheat to die down. Many populations are eating more meat now. The article relates to my topic on water shortages because like water there is a shortage in wheat crops. I think this article is very short and sweet and I have a better understanding on food shortages.
